the boathouse - isle of ulva
We would like to thank everyone who voted in 2009's Market Kitchen local food heroes. We are delighted to have been selected as the winner for
 Scotland!

Situated on the west coast of Scotland beside the Isle of Mull, lies one of the Inner Hebrides best kept secrets. A short two minute ferry trip on the Ulva Ferry and you arrive on the picturesque Isle of Ulva.

The recently refurbished Boathouse has been transformed since being taken over in 2007 by the young business partnership of Emma Mckie and Rebecca Munro.
The Boathouse restaurant and tearoom offers wonderful fresh local seafood in an unique location.

Open April until late September, we specialise in fresh local fish and shellfish which varies daily. Lunches also include soups, sandwiches and home baking, all freshly prepared in our kitchen.
